Valerie Ormond
Valerie Ormond retired after a 25-year career as a naval intelligence officer and began her second career as a writer. She founded her own business, Veteran Writing Services, LLC, providing companies professional writing, editing, and consulting services. Valerie’s novels, Believing In Horses, and Believing In Horses, Too, won Gold Medals in the Military Writers Society of America awards and five other first place awards in national and international competitions. Her latest novel, Believing In Horses Out West, debuted as an Amazon #1 New Release. Her non-fiction stories have been published in seven books, and her articles have appeared internationally in magazines, newspapers, and blogs.
